Nard (Nardostachys jatamansi), sometimes known as SpikeNard, is native to northern India and Nepal and has been highly prized in Middle East and Mediterranean regions since antiquity. It is mentioned in the Bible in the song of Solomon. In three gospels we find the story of Mary Magdalena anointing Christ’s feet with ‘Nard’.

スパイクナードについて調べていたときに見つけたものです。この内容はスピリチュアルな面について書かれています。オイルによってスピリチュアルの進化が起こることに興味が沸きました。また、古代より香油を身体に塗布することが良く出てきます。アロマセラピーマッサージも植物油を身体に塗布して行います。現在、植物油を塗布することに興味をもって調べています。分かり次第書いてみたいと思っています。油を塗ることになにか意義があったために古代から油が身体に塗られていたのだと思います。
