カラマス精油（CO2 セレクト抽出物）

先日のブログ“カラマス精油・学名：Acorus calamus の主要成分β-アサロン（β-Asarone）について”をFacebookにリンクしたら、Kerkhof-Knapp Hayes さんからGreat oil. I have the CO2 extract in my assortment. That is wonderful!（最高の精油。私の取り揃えた精油の中にカラマス精油（CO2 セレクト抽出物）があります。素晴らしい精油です）とのコメント頂きました。それで返事にCO2精油情報を日本では見つけるのが難しいとコメントしたら下記のコメントを頂きましたので紹介します。

Calamus oil has been around for some time. This extract has great anticonvulsant properties. It is also spasmolytic and could play an important role in treating neuropathic pain (like hyper-algesia and allodynia) due to neurotoxic kinds of chemotherapy, such as vincristine. It could even be a promising new treatment for gastric cancer, study reveals. It is also a good anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative oil for the skin, and excellent wound healing capacity, and effective against Propioni-bacterium acne.

I advise it for…
Spasms and cramps, additions to blends for epilepsy, rheumatic pains and inflammation, trigeminus neuralgia neuropathy, and other types of pain involving nerve rich areas; wounds, infections of the skin, infected wounds and (infected) acne.

私はそれを下記のことをアドバイスします。
けいれんおよびこむら返り、付け加えて、癲癇、リウマチ性疼痛および炎症、三叉神経痛神経障害、および　創傷、皮膚の炎症、および「創傷、皮膚の感染、創傷感染と（感染した）にきび」神経密生部位に関与する他のタイプの疼痛に対するブレンド。

Practical use: one or several drops on a tissue, handkerchief or diffuser, depending on preference. You may also use an inhaler (approx. 20-22dr) or AromaPatch® (2-5dr).
The usual dosage for topical application in adults is 1-2%.
Up to 3% may be used on small local areas, based on its quantitative β-aserone contents of around 7%.
Internal use (adults) of this extract: not established
Foot- 2 / sitz- 2-3 / full bath max. 5 dr.
Use 25-50% of this for elderly, depending on indication.
Avoid for children and in pregnancy.

実用：好みに応じて、ティッシュ、ハンカチまたはディフューザーに1滴または数滴。
また、アロマスティク（約20-22滴）またはアロマパッチ（2-5滴）で使用。成人の局所塗布のための通常投与量は1〜2％です。
小局所部位では、約7%の定量的なβ-アセロン含有量に基づいて3％まで使用することができます。
この抽出物の内服（成人）：確立されていない。

Contra-indications: the EU has set no limits to its use, but calamus is banned in the US for pharmaceutical use; IFRA advises a maximum of 0.01% for skin products.

Tisserand & Young advise a max. oral dose of 37mg based on 19% β-asarone (which would translate into approx. 100mg for this extract with 7%). β-asarone as a molecule could be carcino-genic and cause liver issues in high doses (far exceeding the advised maximum).

Essential OIL Safety Second Ediion の著者Tisserand＆Youngは最高のアドバイスをします。19％のβ-アサロンに基づいて37mgの経口用量（これはこれは7％で約100mgになる）。分子としてβ-アサロンは発がん物質であって、高容量（アドバイスされた最大値をはるかに上回る）で肝臓問題を引き起こす可能性があります。

This type of calamus showed no mutagenic activity any of 4 dosages. A 2 year feeding of rats in doses of 50, 250, 500 and 1000mg/kg/day only showed mutagenesis in rats at the two highest doses. (Source: Essential Oil Safety).

Madeleine’s view: I would use calamus only in severe cases of localized (neuropathic) pains, and convulsions where the benefits could well outweigh the potential risks.

ビンクリスチン（Vincristine、VCR）は、抗がん剤として用いられるビンカアルカロイドの一つ。商品名オンコビン。微小管の重合反応を阻害する事により、細胞の有糸分裂を阻害する。軟部腫瘍、血液腫瘍等に対してよく使われる[3]。intravenousで用いられる

アロディニア

アロディニア（英: allodynia）とは、通常では疼痛をもたらさない微小刺激が、すべて疼痛としてとても痛く認識される感覚異常のこと。異痛症とも呼ばれる。[1][2]
末梢神経でAδ線維とC線維の疼痛閾値低下による静的アロディニアと、Aβ線維における伝導路の変異による動的アロディニアとに分けられる[1]。静的アロディニアは軽く圧迫しただけでも痛む場合を指し、障害部位に限局する。動的アロディニアは指でなぞるような刺激で痛みが生じる場合を指し、障害部位に限局せず広範囲である。[2]
